1. Introduction


Award Training Limited is a trusted, NHS-approved provider of specialist healthcare, education, and public sector training, with a particular focus on the nationally recognised Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training in Learning Disability and Autism.

We are an Approved Provider on the NHS England National Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training Provider List.

As such, we adhere to all national training standards and compliance requirements.

We maintain a network of certified trainers (Lead Facilitators, Autism Co-Trainers, Learning Disabilities Co-Trainers), each holding an individual NHS England approved Trainer ID. Our organisational compliance and listing are maintained in line with national quality standards and audit requirements.

2. Trainer Standards & Competency

All trainers delivering Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training under Award
Training Limited’s delivery structure:

Hold individual NHS England approved Trainer IDs.

Operate under Award Training Limited’s Quality Assurance Framework.

Are required to maintain full compliance with the NHS England Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training standards and ongoing CPD requirements.

Are subject to internal performance review and are supported through continuous professional development and feedback.

Award Training Limited, as an Approved Provider, maintains oversight of all trainer certification status and ensures compliance with:

3. Training Design & Delivery

Award Training Limited operates robust Safeguarding Policies, including safer recruitment, trainer vetting, and escalation procedures.
We are fully GDPR-compliant, with strict controls on personal data processing.
Health & Safety policies are in place for both face-to-face and online delivery environments.

 

6. Continuous Improvement

 

QA reviews are conducted quarterly to monitor:

Trainer performance
Client satisfaction
Improvement actions are recorded and monitored through an internal QA log.
Lessons learned are shared across the delivery team.
